Who We Are

The PPRC is an interdisciplinary research unit within The Chinese University of Hong Kong's Hong Kong Institute of Asia-Pacific Studies, the Centre was established in 2005 to produce impactful public policy research with a global perspective. We focus on the critical challenges facing Hong Kong, the Greater Bay Area, and the wider Asia-Pacific, with dedicated programmes in social innovation, city resilience, and university 
social responsibilities.

Objectives

Encourage and support high-quality public policy research among CUHK scholars, with emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration.

Focus on Sustainability and Social Impact

Conduct research aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), city sustainability, and university social responsibility.

Provide evidence-based insights to guide policy deliberation and formulation.
